wireless usb adapter for internet connection?!?!??!?

umm i found a lil chip in staples…its kinda red with the rogers as the manufacturer…so i was wondering that if i bought that chip which is for approx. 130 bucks..will i then have to pay monthly or whatever but constantly to rogers company for supplying me with the internet connection or not? and the second question is will that piece actually strengthen my signal receiver or will it actually use the GPS networking system to connect to the internet…u may wonder whats the difference..the diff is actually that if u were somewhere in the mall in a rly far away place with on single wireless connection around will it work or not? cuz gps works on mars..nah jk it wont..anyways so any help plz??

1: You will need to pay a monthly fee to an Internet Service Provider. You may be best checking the inventory of the provider to see if they have any giveaways with a new service subscription.

2: They work on the same network type as cell phones. This is why the leading providers are cell phone companies. Your reception will be typical to that of a cell phone. The signal will relay through a satellite but be provided to you from a tower.
