2006 Mercedes CLS 500 Phone Kit?

Ok, I’m thinking about purchasing this car. It has navigation dvd and I assume a phone system. It has the dial buttons w/ send and end keys. But does it work or do I need to purchase a phone kit? Please Help. I’ve searched all over the internet and nothing really talks about Mercedes phone sytem.
To clarify my question can my cell phone be linked or do i need to purchase a bluetooth phone kit?

It works fine, the problem is the expense, I am sure you have a cell phone, and the car phone is a waste of time. I have an SL600 and the phone came standard for one year, but It was still useless to me because no one would call the car’s number, though it can be linked to your phone, so I just said screw it, and the monthly or annual fee for the continuation of the phone feature is horrible expensive
